This Thanksgiving we decided to skip the turkey and Manuel made a dish he's been thinking about making for 15 years - a cassoulet. It was, as Raffi described it, "the best meal I've ever had in my entire life". In addition, we ate homemade bread, our own stout beer, and homemade pumpkin pie....all on our beautiful table with all of the wooden bowls and utensils by candlelight. Very lovely. |
